The Liberty Union Lions (Baltimore, OH) basketball crushed the host Tyler Knights (Sistersville, WV), 62-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Amanda-Clearcreek for a Mid-State - Buckeye bout on Saturday, January 4. Liberty Union will play a Aces team coming off a 65-32 non-league loss to Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH). The Aces record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Tyler falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV) to play the Crusaders in a Little Kanawha - West bout on Friday, January 3.
