In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Live Oak Classical Falcons basketball team scored a big 66-36 win over the Troy Trojans.

The Falcons (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against San Marcos Academy (San Marcos, TX). The Bears come into the TAPPS 3A District 4 contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, San Marcos Academy was trounced by Round Rock Christian Academy (Round Rock, TX), 39-27, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Troy will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Goats come into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 59-45 non-league win over Leon (Jewett, TX).
