Arkansas High School Basketball - Pea Ridge bested by Mayflower
December 28, 2024: Mayflower, AR 72106 Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Pea Ridge Blackhawks (Pea Ridge, AR), 71-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mayflower advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Eagles host Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR) to meet the Eagles in a 3A Region 5 match on Friday, January 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-8.
The Blackhawks now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Forest for a 4A Region 1 match on Tuesday, January 7. Pea Ridge will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to De Queen (De Queen, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
