Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mohawk Area sneaks past Sharon
December 28, 2024: Sharon, PA 16146 The Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) basketball edged the host Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA), 67-64 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ellwood City for a WPIAL 3A 1 bout on Friday, January 3. Mohawk Area will play a Wolverine team coming off a 74-41 non-league win over Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Sharon falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Iroquois (Erie, PA) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Iroquois won 72-59 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA)
