Minnesota High School Basketball - Warroad holds off Mora
December 28, 2024: Warroad, MN 56763 The Warroad Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Mora Mustangs to 56 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now have a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wadena-Deer Creek for a AA Section 8 game on Thursday, January 2. Warroad will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 77-64 non-league loss to Frazee (Frazee, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Mora falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Osakis (Osakis, MN) to confront the Silverstreaks in a AA Section 6 game on Friday, January 3. The Silverstreaks go into the game with a record of 4-1. Osakis won 66-51 in their recent non-league game against Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN)
