Massachusetts High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant holds off Worcester Academy
December 28, 2024: Worcester, MA 01604 The Mt. Pleasant Kilties basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Worcester Academy Hilltoppers to 41 in the Kilties non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Kilties now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Barrington for a Division 1 game on Friday, January 3. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Eagles team coming off a 70-50 league win over Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Worcester Academy falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to MacDuffie (Granby, MA) to confront the Mustangs in a NEPSAC Freelance game on Saturday, January 11. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-0.
