In Saturday's non-league test, the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) basketball squad defeated the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC), by a score of 49-38.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Loris Lions (Loris, SC) in a non-league test, on Sunday, December 29. Nitro will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 92-57 non-league win over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC).

The Chiefs (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC). The Bears come into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Belton-Honea Path overcame Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC), 71-67, in a non-league test.
