In Saturday's non-league contest, the host O'Neill Eagles basketball team scored a good 63-44 win over the North Central Knights.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Crofton (Crofton, NE). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Crofton was topped by Wynot (Wynot, NE), 53-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack (Elgin, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. North Central will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Wolfpack come into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 56-28 non-league win over Creighton (Creighton, NE).
