Texas High School Basketball - Pettus can't hold off Northeast Early College
December 28, 2024: Pettus, TX 78146 Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Pettus Eagles (Pettus, TX), 50-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northeast Early College upgrades its record to 3-13 on the year. The Raiders travel to Austin Achieve (Austin, TX) to face the Polar Bears in a 4A Region IV District 25 match on Friday, January 3. The Polar Bears enter the match with a record of 3-8.
The Eagles now sport a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockport-Fulton for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Pettus will face a Pirates squad coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Bishop (Bishop, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 10-10.
