In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Oakdale Mustangs basketball team scored a big 66-44 triumph over the Ripon Indians.

The Mustangs (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Union (Manteca, CA). The Lancers go into the Valley Oak League contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, East Union smashed McClymonds (Oakland, CA), 48-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians confront the El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Ripon will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Gauchos go into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 70-42 non-league loss to Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA).
