Ohio High School Basketball - Toledo Christian can't hold off Old Fort
December 28, 2024: Old Fort, OH 44861 Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Toledo Christian Eagles (Toledo, OH), 59-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Old Fort advances its record to 5-1 on the year. The Stockaders travel to Calvert (Tiffin, OH) to face the Senecas in a Sandusky Bay - River match on Monday, December 30. The Senecas enter the match with a record of 4-1. Calvert won 45-39 in their recent league match against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH)
The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maumee Valley Country Day for a Toledo Area match on Friday, January 3. Toledo Christian will face a Hawks squad coming off a 79-44 non-league loss to St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
