Minnesota High School Basketball - Perham holds off Sauk Centre
December 28, 2024: Sauk Centre, MN 56378 The Perham Yellowjackets basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters to 65 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Barnesville for a AA Section 8 game on Friday, January 3. Perham will confront a Trojans team coming off a 61-54 non-league win over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted/Holy Trinity (Howard Lake, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Sauk Centre falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Mainstreeters travel to Montevideo (Montevideo, MN) to confront the Thunderhawks in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Thunderhawks go into the game with a record of 7-1.
