St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ), 79-61 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to face the Saints in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Saints enter the match with a record of 10-1. Notre Dame Prep won 52-46 in their recent non-league match against Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA)

The Pioneers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Pinnacle will face a Blue Knights squad coming off a 82-56 non-league loss to Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX). The Blue Knights record now stands at 8-3.
