California High School Basketball - Placer bests Rio Americano

December 28, 2024: Auburn, CA 95603

The Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) basketball felled the visiting Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA), 74-55 in Saturday's non-league match.

With the victory, Placer upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Hillmen travel to Chico (Chico, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 9-5.

The Raiders now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vista del Lago for a Capital Valley Conference match on Friday, January 3. Rio Americano will face a Eagles squad coming off a 56-50 non-league win over Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
