Texas High School Basketball - Seguin knocks off V.R. Eaton
December 28, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76052 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) and the host V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX), observed Seguin's basketball team overcome V.R. Eaton by a margin of 61-51.
The Cougars (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region I District 8 challenge with a 18-5 record. In their last challenge, Centennial defeated Weatherford (Weatherford, TX), 61-56, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Timber Creek Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. V.R. Eaton will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record.
