Ohio High School Basketball - Whitmer succumbs to St. Mary's Prep
December 28, 2024: Toledo, OH 43613 The St. Mary's Prep Eaglets ran past the host Whitmer Panthers basketball team by a margin of 67-52 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Eaglets (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI). The Zebras go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Wayne Memorial topped Elyria (Elyria, OH), 68-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) in a Northern Lakes contest, on Friday, January 3. Whitmer will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 43-35 non-league loss to Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH).
