California High School Basketball - Venture Academy toppled by Oakdale
December 28, 2024: Stockton, CA 95206 Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), 54-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Oakdale upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to East Union (Manteca, CA) to face the Lancers in a match on Thursday, January 2. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 10-1. East Union won 46-36 in their recent non-league match against Turlock (Turlock, CA)
The Mustangs now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Venture Academy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Summerville (Tuolumne, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 7-4.
