Michigan High School Basketball - Algonac holds off Memphis
December 28, 2024: Algonac, MI 48001 The Algonac Muskrats basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Memphis Yellowjackets to 39 in the Muskrats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Muskrats now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yale for a Blue Water Area game on Friday, January 10.
With the loss, Memphis falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Ubly (Ubly, MI) to confront the Bearcats in a Greater Thumb - East game on Tuesday, January 7. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 0-4. Ubly lost 28-27 in their recent non-league game against Reese (Reese, MI)
