New Jersey High School Basketball - Audubon nips Penns Grove
December 28, 2024: Audubon, NJ 08106 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Audubon Green Wave (Audubon, NJ) and the visiting Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), observed Audubon's basketball team edge Penns Grove by a score of 43-39.
The Green Wave (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lindenwold (Lindenwold, NJ). The Lions come into the Colonial challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Lindenwold was tipped by Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ), 50-23, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Schalick Cougars (Pittsgrove, NJ) in a Tri-County - Diamond challenge, on Friday, January 3. Penns Grove will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 51-29 league win over Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ).
