The Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL) basketball crushed the host Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 80-52 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sheffield for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Deshler will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 61-26 league loss to Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Austin falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Black bears host Decatur (Decatur, AL) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-10.
