New York High School Basketball - Canandaigua Academy toppled by Binghamton
December 28, 2024: Canandaigua, NY 14424 Binghamton Patriots (Binghamton, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY), 54-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Binghamton upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Albany (Albany, NY) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 4-2. Albany lost 64-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY)
In their next game, the Braves battle the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 29. Canandaigua Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 48-44 non-league win over Whitman-Hanson Regional (Whitman, MA).
