The Capital Golden Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Meridian Warriors to 37 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Kelly for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Capital will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-24 league win over Nampa (Nampa, ID). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.
