The East Bladen Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders to 44 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Pender for a 1A/2A Waccamaw game on Friday, January 3. East Bladen will confront a Patriots team coming off a 34-28 league win over South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Cardinal Gibbons falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Enloe (Raleigh, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 4A CAP 6 game on Friday, January 10. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-10.
