Kentucky High School Basketball - Somerset overwhelms Caverna
December 28, 2024: Somerset, KY 42501 The Somerset Briar Jumpers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Caverna Colonels to 39 in the Briar Jumpers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Briar Jumpers now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Frankfort for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Somerset will confront a Panthers team coming off a 71-41 non-league loss to Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Caverna falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Colonels host John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, January 3.
