In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Laurence Vikings basketball team scored a close 47-45 triumph over the Central Rockets.

The Vikings (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks go into the non-league contest with a 13-4 record.

In their next game, the Rockets confront the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Central will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record.
