Kentucky High School Basketball - Corbin nips Tates Creek
December 28, 2024: Corbin, KY 40701 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Corbin Redhounds basketball team scored a close 64-61 triumph over the Tates Creek Commodores.
The Redhounds (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Blazer was tipped by North Laurel (London, KY), 67-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Commodores battle the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a District 43 contest, on Friday, January 3. Tates Creek will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 44-24 non-league win over Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY).
