In Saturday's non-league test, the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Crosby Cougars (Crosby, TX), by a final score of 44-32.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 test, on Saturday, January 4. Ridge Point will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Rangers come into the test with a 3-13 record after their 81-16 league loss to Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX).

The Cougars (11-12) will now prepare for their test against West Fork (Kingwood, TX). The Gators come into the 5A Region III District 18 test with a 4-14 record.
