Alabama High School Basketball - Deerfield-Windsor knocks off Tuscaloosa Academy
December 28, 2024: Tuscaloosa, AL 35406 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights basketball team scored a good 48-39 win over the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights.
The Knights (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Warriors come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Brookwood dropped by Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA), 57-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the University Charter Trail Blazers (Livingston, AL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Tuscaloosa Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Trail Blazers come into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 59-13 league loss to Hatch (Uniontown, AL).
