Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz overwhelms Dunbar
December 28, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76112 The Nimitz Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Dunbar Wildcats to 26 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now have a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Forney for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Nimitz will confront a Jackrabbits team coming off a 39-27 non-league loss to Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 10-10.
With the loss, Dunbar falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Western Hills (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 4A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 3. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 8-10. Western Hills won 30-20 in their recent league game against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX)
