In Saturday's non-league test, the Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA), by a score of 53-41.

Next, the Jaguars encounter the Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA) in a Central test, on Friday, January 3. Garnet Valley will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 42-38 non-league win over North Penn (Lansdale, PA).

The Churchmen (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA). The come into the non-league test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, Shipley beat Parkland (Allentown, PA), 57-27, in a non-league test.
