In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors basketball team scored a big 74-39 win over the Flowers Jaguars.

The Warriors (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Kenwood smashed Coolidge (Washington, DC), 60-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 31. Flowers will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Frogs come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Centreville (Clifton, VA).
