In Saturday's non-league test, the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), by a score of 45-28.

Next, the Rams encounter the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a 3A/4A Mountain test, on Friday, January 3. T.C. Roberson will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Black Hawks come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 58-40 non-league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).

The Jaguars (6-6) will now prepare for their test against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders come into the 3A Big South test with a 8-2 record.
