Texas High School Basketball - Forney fells Nimitz
December 28, 2024: Forney, TX 75126 The Forney Jackrabbits basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Nimitz Vikings to 32 in the Jackrabbits non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Jackrabbits now have a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Tyler Legacy for a 6A Region II District 10 game on Tuesday, January 7. Forney will confront a Raiders team coming off a 41-38 league loss to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 22-4.
With the loss, Nimitz falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 7 game on Friday, January 3. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-16. Lake Highlands lost 54-50 in their recent non-league game against Nimitz (Houston, TX)
