Wisconsin High School Basketball - Gillett overwhelms Sturgeon Bay
December 28, 2024: Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235 The Gillett Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Sturgeon Bay Clippers to 24 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Peshtigo for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Gillett will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-53 league win over Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy (Green Bay, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Sturgeon Bay falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Clippers host Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI) to confront the Vikings in a Packerland game on Saturday, January 4. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 1-7.
