In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Glenn Grizzlies basketball team scored a big 61-40 win over the Klein Bearkats.

The Grizzlies (24-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hays (Buda, TX). The Hawks come into the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Hays smashed Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 50-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bearkats battle the Tomball Memorial Wildcats (Tomball, TX) in a 6A Region II District 15 contest, on Tuesday, December 31.
