The Thornton Fractional North Meteors basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Greenforest Eagles to 51 in the Meteors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Meteors now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. Thornton Fractional North will confront a Celtics team coming off a 42-36 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 9-7.
