In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Hays Hawks basketball team scored a good 50-40 win over the Stony Point Tigers.

The Hawks (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Glenn (Leander, TX). The Grizzlies come into the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 24-2 record. In their last contest, Glenn defeated Klein (Klein, TX), 61-40, in a non-league contest.
