Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 55-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Palisades upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Pumas host South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to face the Sabres in a 4A South Meck match on Friday, January 3. The Sabres enter the match with a record of 12-2. South Mecklenburg won 61-18 in their recent non-league match against Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA)

The Rams now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont match on Friday, January 3.
