In Saturday's non-league test, the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) basketball squad got by the visiting Sheridan Yellowjackets (Sheridan, AR), by a score of 52-46.

Next, the Rebels clash with the Gosnell Pirates (Gosnell, AR) in a 4A Region 3 test, on Thursday, January 9. Highland will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record.

The Yellowjackets (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Hamburg (Hamburg, AR). The Lions come into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Hamburg was nipped by Beebe (Beebe, AR), 53-15, in a non-league test.
