With the victory, Hillcrest advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to West Plains (West Plains, MO) to meet the Zizzers in a Ozarks battle on Monday, December 30. The Zizzers enter the battle with a record of 6-3. West Plains won 63-55 in their recent non-league battle against El Dorado Springs (El Dorado Springs, MO)
The Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webb City for a Central Ozarks bout on Monday, January 6. Nixa will play a Cardinals team coming off a 53-36 non-league win over Whitehaven (Memphis, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-2.
