Oregon High School Basketball - Newberg sneaks past McDaniel
December 28, 2024: Newberg, OR 97132 The Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR) basketball edged the visiting McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR), 29-24 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westview for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Newberg will play a Wildcats team coming off a 58-47 non-league win over David Douglas (Portland, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, McDaniel falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mountain lions travel to Putnam (Milwaukie, OR) to play the Kingsmen in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Kingsmen go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
