Missouri High School Basketball - Montgomery County holds off Moberly
December 28, 2024: Moberly, MO 65270 The Montgomery County Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Moberly Spartans to 37 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Southern Boone for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Montgomery County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Moberly falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Spartans host Centralia (Centralia, MO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-0. Centralia won 51-42 in their recent non-league game against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO)
