December 28, 2024: Rockaway, NJ 07866 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) and the visiting Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), observed Morris Knolls's basketball team overcome Summit by a margin of 41-27.
The Golden Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ). The Ridgers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Glen Ridge dropped by NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ), 37-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers battle the Lenape Valley Patriots (Stanhope, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Summit will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ).
