December 28, 2024: Colfax, IL 61728 The Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) basketball edged the visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL), 35-29 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Point for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Ridgeview will play a Chargers team coming off a 51-13 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Paxton-Buckley-Loda falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Panthers host Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL) to play the Grey Ghosts in a Illini Prairie bout on Saturday, January 4.
