Georgia High School Basketball - Stratford Academy knocks off Pinewood Christian
December 28, 2024: Macon, GA 31220 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Stratford Academy Eagles basketball team scored a good 57-39 win over the Pinewood Christian Patriots.
The Eagles (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Westfield School dropped by Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 71-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Augusta Prep Day Cavaliers (Augusta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Pinewood Christian will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 48-18 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA).
