The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC) and the host Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), observed Travelers Rest's basketball team knock off Polk County by a score of 44-34.

The Devildogs (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Heritage prevailed over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 57-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30.
