Virginia High School Basketball - Norcom holds off Hampton
December 28, 2024: Hampton, VA 23669 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Norcom Greyhounds basketball team scored a close 46-43 triumph over the Hampton Crabbers.
The Greyhounds (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeland nipped Menchville (Newport News, VA), 47-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crabbers confront the Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Hampton will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Monarchs go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 47-25 non-league loss to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
