Virginia High School Basketball - Fort Chiswell trounced by Pulaski County
December 28, 2024: Dublin, VA 24084 Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), 53-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pulaski County advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Cougars host Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to face the Titans in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Titans enter the match with a record of 2-4. Hidden Valley won 52-35 in their recent non-league match against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
The Pioneers now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Radford for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Fort Chiswell will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 54-27 non-league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
