Washington High School Basketball - Franklin can't hold off Highline
December 28, 2024: Seattle, WA 98144 Highline Pirates (Burien, WA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Franklin Quakers (Seattle, WA), 58-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Highline advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Washington (Tacoma, WA) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 1-7. Washington lost 50-32 in their recent non-league match against Capital (Olympia, WA)
The Quakers now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Franklin will face a Eagles squad coming off a 58-37 non-league loss to Ballard (Seattle, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
