California High School Soccer - Polytechnic toppled by Monrovia
December 28, 2024: Pasadena, CA 91106 Monrovia Wildcats (Monrovia, CA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Monrovia moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mountain View (El Monte, CA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Friday, January 3. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 8-3. Mountain View won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA)
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blair for a non-league test on Monday, January 6. Polytechnic will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-2 non-league Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-7.
